Nice campus. Some staff very helpful and knowledgeable and some not so much. But I’ve taken classes at LCCC full time in 2000 and night classes in 2022 and both experiences were overall positive experiences.

One of the best local community colleges to go to! I attended Early College here and did the University Partnership with Toledo. Great opportunities, amazing professors, beautiful scenery, and up to date technology!

LCCC is an invaluable asset to the community. The resources for students, including low tuition, free tutoring, partnerships with other colleges, and the food pantry - make higher education available to so many people.

This school is great. They really care about helping students succeed. Any problem that you have that would be a barrier to you going to this school and succeeding there, they probably can help you fix it and they will. Supportive services are plentiful and amazing, and you can get Bachelor's and Master's degrees from many of the big universities in Ohio through the University Partnerships, right on their campus and for a lot cheaper!

A really nice campus, and facilities, ample parking, and a huge swaths of grass and lawns. Starbucks and a subway for food. The staff is friendly and helpful. They don't view students as dollar signs, they treat and teach you like a person.

Don't do the MA certificate. They claimed there is lots of jobs. There isn't I applied over to 30 positions all rejections even had 9 interview. It's been a month since I graduated. There's other people in my class having the same issue. My externship didn't offer me a position claiming they had none. Just warning people what's it like. I met multiple people saying they got this certificate or know someone who did and they didn't get a job at it.

Lorain County Community College has many degree and certificate programs to choose from. Plan sheets are available throughout the campus. Assessment testing will help you to determine if you are ready. The key for me was to find a plan and stick with it. The atmosphere was nothing like my high school, and I loved it. I found a great job in my field even before graduating. Later, I was able to transfer my entire two-year degree into one of the University Partnership programs. I started as a third-year student, and completed my bachelor's degree while working full-time and raising a family, without having to leave the county. Once I had a goal, counselors, advisors, faculty members, tutors, staff and even fellow students helped me to reach it!

An inexpensive and decent place for high-school students looking to get ahead in their studies or for working adults to get a degree. Like all places of higher education, professors and instructors vary in terms of how much effort and zeal they bring to the classroom. It's sad however, to see so many staff and faculty with innovative and exciting ideas that are meant to rejuvenate the college being consistently shut down due to "lack of resources".

I got my first degree assocates was okay. I had to take things that did not relate to what I was going for. I feel they are all about money. I'm in it again for a certificate for medical. The teachers are rude and blaming the students if we don't understand something. They say we are failing to understand and listen. All semester I have been trying and the teachers being rude. Info is was to much to do and the work and just combing too much together. I feel I have made a poor decision. In chosing to take my cerfticate for medical here. I have even had the teacher call me yelling at me when I tried to tell her I felt I was being treated unfair. I had a death in the family at the time. Also recently I keep being told I am the only one if there's a issue like not receiving all three cpr certificates in e-mail and to figure it out myself. Then I found out other in the class had same issue. I am at my witts end in theclass but close to graduating this semester but can't tolerate being treated like this anymore. I'm afraid to go to lccc about the teachers that they will fail me or make it worse for me. I have not been in a situation like this in all my years of going to school.
